National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Compliance Services

ACER provides our clients with regulatory compliance services to ensure National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements have been satisfied prior to development. NEPA compliance is required for projects funded, regulated, or permitted by a federal agency. The Council on Environmental Quality has promulgated regulations (40 CFR Parts 1500-1508) for implementing NEPA, which require potential impacts on the human environment be considered prior to undertaking an action. When potential negative impacts are identified, NEPA requires an Environmental Assessment (EA) be conducted. ACER screens for the following factors as part of a NEPA Survey:
