Snell Electric, Vineland, NJ
ACER delivers comprehensive environmental consulting and site remediation services to identify, assess, and remediate contamination across commercial, industrial, and municipal properties. Our multidisciplinary team provides Phase I/II ESAs, contaminated soil and groundwater investigations, remedial design and implementation, regulatory liaison, risk assessments, and long‑term monitoring—tailoring pragmatic, cost‑effective solutions that protect human health, ensure regulatory compliance, and enable redevelopment or continued operation of clients’ sites.
For the City of Vineland, ACER provided environmental consulting and remediation services at the former Snell Electric property. This Brownfields site had a number of areas of concern, including a 4,000-gallon gasoline UST, a 1,000-gallon fuel oil UST, nine (9) transformers, a loading dock with drums, aluminum-cadmium batteries, a former storage yard, and a floor drain system. As part of this project, ACER completed a preliminary assessment, site investigation, geophysical survey, UST closure, and soil remediation. Upon completion of the remedial investigation and remedial action activities, a Remedial Action Report/Remedial Action Workplan was prepared and a deed notice was completed. This project received approval from the NJDEP.
