ACER conducts groundwater investigations and remediation services to identify, characterize, and mitigate subsurface contamination from industrial, commercial, and legacy waste sources. Using site conceptual model development, groundwater monitoring well installation, sampling and laboratory analysis, contaminant transport modeling, and remediation design (pump-and-treat, ISCO, bioremediation, monitored natural attenuation), we deliver data-driven corrective action plans, regulatory submittals, and implementation oversight to protect receptors, achieve compliance, and support site closure or redevelopment.
ACER was retained as the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) to conduct a Remedial Investigation of gasoline impacted soil and groundwater at the site resulting from leaking underground storage tanks (USTs). As part of this project, ACER completed an Interim Remedial Measure (IRM) report for gasoline product observed on groundwater and completed a vapor intrusion investigation to ensure compliance with the NJDEP regulations. The remedial investigation of soil and groundwater has identified groundwater contaminated with gasoline constituents as well as a secondary plume contaminated with a chlorinated solvent. The proposed remediation will incorporate multiple remediation technologies combined to control and degrade the plume to the meet the NJDEP Groundwater Quality Standards.
