ACER develops compliant SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure), DPCC, and DCR plans and programs to prevent, contain, and respond to oil and hazardous material releases at industrial, commercial, and utility sites. Our services include site audits and risk assessments, SPCC/DPCC/DCR plan preparation and updates, secondary containment and engineering recommendations, regulatory coordination, employee training and spill-response drills, and implementation support to ensure EPA/State compliance and minimize environmental and business risk.
This facility manufactures cleaning solvents for the printing industry. In accordance with NJDEP regulations, a Discharge Prevention, Containment, & Countermeasure (DPCC) and Discharge Cleanup and Removal (DCR) Plan was prepared for this major facility. The initial scope of work consisted of preparing a general site plan, drainage and land use mapping, evaluation of secondary containment systems, developing standard operating procedures, and implementing a housekeeping and maintenance program. Regular inspections are performed at the facility to insure proper record keeping, visually inspect and monitor procedures, and accompany the NJDEP during site inspections. As required, the DPCC/DCR plan has been renewed with the state every three (3) years.
