Blackwood-Clementon Road

The Boroughs of Lindenwold and Pine Hill New Jersey planned the construction of a new road and the replacement of two existing bridges along Blackwood-Clementon Road.  ACER performed a subsurface investigation in the area of the proposed road and bridges including the installation of borings and the preparation of a Geotechnical Engineering Report for the site.  This report defined the stratification of subsurface soils and the engineering properties of these soils within the area of the proposed road and the two bridges.  The subsurface investigation included a field study of the geology and soil characteristics in the substratum through visual classification and an extensive laboratory testing program.  Based on these investigations, the Report provided recommendations regarding possible foundation designs for the proposed bridges, soil strength conditions, and general foundation installation criteria.
