ACER provided soil resistivity testing for a proposed electrical substation at the United States Naval Air Engineering Station.  Soil resistivity data is critical to engineering proper grounding systems for electrical equipment.  In accordance with the ASTM "Standard Test Method for Measurement of Soil Resistivity Using the Wenner Four-Electrode Method" (ASTM G57), ACER employed the Wenner Four Probe Method, using an AEMC Instruments Digital Ground Resistance Tester, to collect soil resistivity data along two testing axes.  The calculated soil resistivity was used to engineer a safe and cost-effective electrical grounding system.
